Albion to host Parma in pre-season

ALBION are delighted to announce they will play Italian top-flight outfit Parma in their sole home summer friendly on
Sunday, August 7 (ko 3pm).
The Baggies will round off their pre-season programme by hosting the Serie A side six days before they kick-off their
2011/12 Barclays Premier League campaign against Manchester United.
Parma finished 12th on 46 points last term, beating then-champions Inter Milan 2-0 on home turf.
Their biggest threat last season was Argentina and former Chelsea hitman Hernan Crespo (pictured), who finished as the
club's nine-goal top scorer.
The Yellow and Blues boast eight major trophies to their name - all won between 1992 and 2002.
They remain the most successful Italian club outside of superpowers Juventus, Milan and Inter in European competition,
having won two UEFA Cups, a European Super Cup and UEFA Cup Winners' Cup.
Parma are currently managed by former Reggina, Napoli and Bologna boss Franco Colomba, who is looking to return the
Northern Italy outfit to the heady heights of Serie A runners-up in the 1996/97 season.
